- Tips to help with microphone issues
Methods:
Right-click on the speaker icon located in the system tray on your taskbar.
Select "Sounds" from the context menu that appears. This will open the Sound settings window.
- Click the "Recording" tab at the top of the window.
Select the recording device you are using (e.g., microphone) and click on the "Properties" button below.
In the Properties window, go to the "Advanced" tab.
Uncheck the box that says "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device."
- Click "Apply" to save the changes and “OK” to close the Properties window.
- Repeat steps 3-6 for any other recording devices you have connected.
