Troubleshooting

Phone issue can be caused by many things but can be easily broken down into 5 categories. The most common are listed top to bottom.

1. Internet Outage

   • All phones will go down.

2. Power Outage

   • All phones will go down.

3. Local Network

   • Firewall: Settings on a firewall can block the phones from reaching out to the internet.

   • Router: Settings on the router like SIP ALG can cause phone features and registration to fail.

4. Phone Hardware

   • Like computers phones can have random issues and need to be turned off and back on to correct itself.

5. Audian Network

   • No network is perfect but on the rare occasions the issue lies on back end.
