Audian offers the ability to have a Live Stream played while a call is on hold. Don't be confined to a repeating loop, with interruptions for announcements. Streams can be hosted by Audian or setup on your own Shoutcast or streaming server.

This article will show you how to do the following:

  • Setup an active Stream to be used for the Default hold music on an account

WARNING: Please ensure that the stream you use is available 24/7. If the stream selected here attempts to be played, and is unavailable, the call may fail completely.

Methods:

 Set Account Hold Music to Default
  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click on the Smart PBX app.
  4. Click the Hold Music button at the top right of the dashboard.

  5. Click the drop down menu, and ensure that it is set to Default.
  6. Click Save Changes to complete.
 Setting Default Hold Music to Streaming URL
  1. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  2. Select Callflows.
  3. Select Account Settings.
  4. Select Misc at the top.
  5. Click the Music on Hold drop down menu.
  6. Select Stream URL.
  7. Enter the URL for the stream.
  8. Click Update.
