Troubleshoot - Voicemail Button not working

This article will show you how to do the following.

  • Troubleshoot non-functioning voicemail button
  • Troubleshoot dead air when accessing VM Box

Methods:

Main # Not Set

SIP phones require a Main Number to be set in the SBPX application before the Voicemail button will function properly.

  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click on the Smart PBX app.
  4. Click on Main Number on the left.

  5. Click on Main Company Numbers.

  6. Click on Add from Spare Numbers.
  7. Check the box next to the desired numbers, and then click Add selected numbers.

VM Box Dead Air

  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click on the Smart PBX app.
  4. Click Voicemail Boxes on the left.

  5. Click the Edit icon for the VM box having problems.

  6. Click Advanced and then Options.

  7. Ensure that the Announce Only Mode is NOT checked.

  8. Click Save Changes.
