Internet Connection Sharing

This article will show you how to do the following:

  • Share a Windows PC's WiFi connection to a VOIP phone via Ethernet cable

This is not a recommended method of getting internet to a phone, but if the phone is not WiFi capable it is a good work around until an adaptor can be gotten for the phone or a WiFi capable phone is assigned to the user.

Methods:

  1. Go to the Start menu, type Control Panel and hit Enter.

  2. From the Control Panel window, click Network and Internet.
  3. Next, click on Network and Sharing Center.
  4. Select Change adapter settings on the left.
  5. Right click on the established WiFi connection, and then select Properties.
  6. Select the Sharing tab at the top of the window, check the box next to
