How To - Change a Menu/Auto Attendant Greeting

This article will show you how to do the following:

  • Change the greeting played in a menu

In order to change the greeting you will need the following:

  • A prepared script of what you would like your customers to hear.
  • The Menu PIN, this can be acquired by calling Audian support.

Methods:

 Call In Process - Easiest

Description: This process involves recording the greeting over your phone and is the easiest way to change it.

  1. Call your main line and select the needed options until you hear the greeting you would like to change.
  2. While listening to the greeting that you would like to update, enter the menu's pin number.
    • If you do not have it, call Audian's Phone Support at 844.611.6110 Opt 2.
  3. Follow the prompts and record the greeting.
 Call Flows Method - Advanced

Description: This method is used when you have the recording files already at hand and would like to upload them directly to the desired menu/call flow.

  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click the Call Flows app icon.

  4. Click Call Flows.
  5. Select the preferred call flow from the left.
  6. Click on the Menu box in the callflow.
  7. Click on Edit Menu Options.
  8. Set the Name, PIN #, and Type from the drop-down menu.
  9. To edit an existing greeting message, click Edit.
  10. Edit the existing greeting as desired.
    • For TTS (Text To Speech): Type the preferred greeting in the provided text box.
    • For Audio: Set the Type drop-down to File. Next, click Change File, and then click Choose file.
  11. Once the greeting has been updated, click Save. If needed, click Save again to finalize the changes to the greeting.
  12. Click the Save Changes button at the top of the callflow.
