- Performs a ping sweep and displays live devices.
- Fully supports both IPv4 and IPv6 discovery.
- Detects hardware MAC-addresses, even across routers.
- Detects hidden shared folders and writable ones.
- Detects internal and external IP addresses.
- Scans for listening TCP ports, some UDP and SNMP services.
Methods:
- Download the app, netscan.exe, and run it.
- Click Discover Active DHCP Server button at the top.
- Run this to check to make sure that there are no conflicting DHCP servers.
- Click the Auto Detect IP Range button.
- Select the local IP address.
- Click Start Scanning
- Review the information you are looking for.
- Right click on the object for additional options that will take you to their IP.
