Methods:
Sending SMS:
- Open a new email message, in the To: field, enter the phone number, without dashes, dots or spaces @(company domain), this will be provided when SMS is first setup on the account. Ex: 4255551234@testcompany.sms.audian.com
- Leave the Subject field blank.
- Type out your message. Removing any signatures or images that would be attached to the message.
- Click Send.
Note: Messages should be sent in Plain Text, all signatures removed, and no double spaces/line breaks. These can cause parts of the message to be missed.
Sending SMS from one of multiple Phone numbers:
Sometimes a user is setup to be able to send from multiple phone numbers. When creating the email in these cases, the steps are mostly the same except for the subject line.
- Open a new email message, in the To: field, enter the phone number, without dashes, dots or spaces @(company domain), this will be provided when SMS is first setup on the account. Ex: 4255551234@testcompany.sms.audian.com
- In the subject field enter: From +1XXXXXXXXXX (Enter the phone number that you would like the SMS to be sent from)
- Note: The phone number entered here MUST have the +1 at the front of the phone number, with no dots, spaces or dashes.
- Type out your message. Removing any signatures or images that would be attached to the message.
- Click Send.

Sending MMS(COMING SOON!):
- Open a new email message, in the To: field, enter the phone number, without dashes, dots or spaces @(company domain) Ex: 4255551234@testcompany.sms.audian.com
- Leave the Subject field blank.
- Type out your message. Removing any signatures or images that would be attached to the message.
- Attach the images to be sent, these files MUST be mms1, mms2, etc. Note: (This could be jpg/png/gif/tiff/Word Docs) File name needs to have mms(#) for the file name. Any files that do not meet this requirement will be removed from the message.
- Click Send.
