This article will show you how to statically assign an IP address to a Polycom phone. 

Step By Step:


  1. On your Polycom phone, press the “Menu” Button
  2. Select “Settings”
  3. Select “Advanced”
  4. Enter the password is “8446116110” and press the “Enter” softkey
  5. Select “Admin Settings”
  6. Select “Network Configuration”
  7. First Disable DHCP client by selecting it and using left right arrows to change
  8. Press the “OK” softkey to continue
  9. Next Select Phone IP Address to edit the address.
  10. Enter in an address that is available within your Local Area Network (Ask your IT professional if you need help with this)
  11. Press the “OK” softkey to continue
  12. Continue Editing the Gateway and DNS Server Addresses
  13. Press “OK” then the “Back” softkey
  14. The phone will prompt you Exit without save or to Save and Reboot
  15. Select Save and reboot
