Description:

This article will show you how to do the following.

  • Setup MultiCast Paging on an account and/or device

NOTE: Paging service will need to be enabled on the account prior to the feature working. To enable this, please send a request to sales@audian.com.

Methods:

 Account Level settings
  1. Login to the Audian Portal
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.

  3. Select Smart PBX from the Apps list.
  4. Click the User/Account Name at the top right of the screen.
  5. If needed, select Account on the top left.
  6. Select Provisioning.
  7. Enable or Disable the MultiCast Paging setting as desired.
  8. Click Save Changes.
 Individual Devices
  1. Login to the Audian Portal
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.

  3. Select Smart PBX from the Apps list.
  4. Select Users on the left.
  5. Click the Device field for the preferred user.
  6. Click on the device's name.
  7. Click Advanced at the top.
  8. Select Miscellaneous from the drop-down menu.
  9. Select the desired option for this device.

    • Note: If Multicast Paging is disabled for a device, it will not receive Pages or be able to initiate paging to other phones.
  10. Click Save Changes.
