Description: Setting up the DHCP server with opt 66 will allow phones to automatically connect to the Audian provisioning server and makes it a lot easier to set up a lot of phones.

  1. Log in to the Mikrotik web portal.
  2. Navigate to the DHCP Server option on the left side
  3. Click on the DHCP ServerOptiontab and click to add a new one.
  4. Name it “Phone Option”
  5. Select the code as 66
  6. The value will be the customer provision string from the my.audian.com portal contained within two single quotes, for example
  7. ‘http://q.audian.com/p/CUSTOMPROVISIONSTRING’
  8. Hit apply and ok to save.
  9. Now go to the network within the DHCP Server, scroll down to “DHCP Option” and select the “Phone” option there. 
    1. If you have more than one option you can also first create a DHCP OptionSet which allows you to create more than one DHCP option.
