This article will show you how to do the following:

  • Enable the QoS settings on your TP Link router
Note

After changing QoS or SIP ALG settings, it is recommended that you restart your router, as well as any effected PC/Phone.

  1. From a computer that is connected using an ethernet cable, Open a browser and navigate to 192.168.0.1 OR tplinkwifi.net.
  2. Enter the Administrator password and click Log In.
  3. Click the Advanced tap at the top.
  4. Select QoS from the options on the left.
  5. Check the Enable QoS box, fill in the maximum Upload and Download speeds for your connection, and then click Save.
  6. Once the QoS settings have been enabled, a list of the devices connected to your network will be shown below. Click the Priority toggle for the Computer and/or Phone being used.

  4. Select NAT Forwarding on the left.
  5. Click Enable SIP ALG to disable. (Enabled by Default on TPLink routers)
