How To - Make a call via the Operator Console Pro

Description:

This article will show you how to do the following:

  • Make, transfer and Park calls using the Operator Console Pro application

Note: Some features, such as making calls, are only available in the Pro version of the Operator Console App.

Methods:

 Making and Receiving calls
  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Select the Operator Console Pro application from the list.

  4. Click the Phone icon, at the bottom left side of the screen.

  5. Enter the phone number to be dialed, and then click the device to be used to make the call. (Note: If the user has multiple devices assigned to them, they will be visible here. Example: Office phone, Home Phone and/or Softphone)

  6. Click Connect.
  7. The device selected will be called, answer the call, and then wait while your call is connected.

 Transfer or Park an active call
  1. While on an active call, select the call from the list of Active Calls.
  2. Click the Hold, Transfer or Park icon.
  3. Selecting the Transfer or Park options and you will be prompted to enter an Extension or Parking spot to send the call to.
  4. Enter the desired Extension or Parking spot and then click Transfer or Park.
 Place call to another user
  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Select the Operator Console Pro application from the list.
  4. Select a user from the list on the right.

  5. Click Call.

  6. Select the device to be used, and then click Connect.

  7. Answer the call on your phone, and then wait while the call is connected.
