This article will show you how to do the following.

  • Process for creating and configuring a softphone using the WebRTC device.


 Add Softphone to User
  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click on the Smart PBX app.
  4. Click Devices on the left.

  5. Click Add Device at the top.

  6. Select Softphone from the list.
  7. Enter a Device Name, assign the phone to a user using the drop down menu, and then click Create Device.

 Install and setup Chrome Extension
  1. In the Chrome browser, navigate to this URL and click the Add to Chrome button to install the extension.
  2. Click the SIP phone icon to the far right of the address bar in Chrome or open from the Extensions list, the puzzle icon.
  3. Enter the Requested information:
    1. Display name: User's Name
    2. Auth User: Your SIP Username (Found in SPBX Device Details screen)
    3. SIP Password: Your SIP Password (Found in SPBX Device Details screen)
    4. SIP Server: Your REALM (Found in SPBX Device Details screen)
    5. WSS/Proxy Server: wss://
  4. Click Add Account.
  5. The account has been added and is now available for use.
 Making and Receiving calls
  1. To make a call, click the SIP Phone icon next to your URL bar in Chrome.
  2. Dial/Enter the desired phone number and click the green phone icon.
  3. The Call will now be dialed.
