Methods:

Description: Ring groups are a feature that can be added to a call flow that will allow you to ring multiple users or devices at the same time.

  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Click on the Callflows app.

  4. Click Callflows again.

  5. Locate the call flow that you would like to create the auto attendant.
    1. If you need to create one reference: Call Flow - Setup
  6. Drag and drop the Ring Group tag from the Actions bar into the menu section.



  7. A pop-up box will appear where you can configure the Ring Group.

    1. Name of ring group: Name of the group
    2. Ring Strategy: How the group rings
    3. Users/Devices/Groups: Entities you can add to the group which is very customizable.
    • Note: Ring groups can contain a mix of Users, devices and groups. This can be useful if a User has multiple devices assigned and only wants one of them to ring.
  8. Drag and drop the users, devices, or groups from the window on the left into the window to the right.

  9. Set the amount of time you would like the phones to ring.
    1. Delay: This is used to delay the phone from ringing and can be set up so that a single users phone rings before the rest of the group.
    2. Timeout: This determines how long a user or device will ring.
      1. 5 seconds is equal to 1 ring.
      2. Cell phones need a minimum of 40 seconds or the call may time out.
  10. Click Save at the bottom.
  11. Click Save Changes at the top.
