Audian User Portal - Conference Bridge

This article will show you how to do the following:

  • Setup the bridge hub: This is where you set up the main conference bridge number for the account.
  • Create a user conference bridge: This is where you set up the conference room for users. If you need just 1 room make it on any user.
  • Control the conference bridge: This is where you can further customize your conference room and manage users during the conference.
 How To - Setup The Conference Bridge Hub
  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Smart PBX from the apps list.
  4. Click the Conference Number tab on the right.
  5. Click Add from Spare Numbers or Buy Number.

  6. Select the number(s) that apply.
  7. Click Add selected numbers.

    • This will enable the conference bridge hub and now you will need to enable a conference bridge for a user.
    • Once a number has been assigned, you can select Custom Greeting to enter a short Text to Speech greeting that callers will hear when they connect to to the main Conference hub, before entering the conference room number.
  8. Click Default Conference Settings - This feature allows admins to set up a default conference bridge that is not assigned to a user when assigning a company conference number.
  9. Click the Disabled toggle switch to Enable.

  10. Adjust the Conference settings as needed, and then click Save Changes.


 How To - Setup User Conference Bridge
  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Smart PBX from the apps list.
  4. Click Users on the left.
  5. Click the User Features field for the preferred user.
  6. Click Conference Bridge.

  7. Click the toggle to Enabled.
  8. Set the Conference Bridge to a 3-4 digit number.
  9. Click Save Changes.

 How To - Manage A Conference Bridge:

Conference Bridge Controls:

  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Audian User Portal from the applications list.
  4. Select Conferences from the left.

  5. Manage conference as needed from here.
  • Deaf: When enabled will stop the participant or moderator from hearing everyone else.
  • Mute: When enabled will stop the participant or moderator from talking.
  • Drop: Will hang up on a single person or if pressed under the conference tab will end the conference call for everyone.

Customize Controls:

These controls will allow you to manage a conference bridge and participants before and during a conference call.

  • Moderator Pin: Set this code for people running the conference call.
  • Participant Pin: Set this code for all the people attending the conference who should not have control.
