How To - Create A User

This article will show you how to do the following:

  • Create a new user

Methods:

  1. Login to the Audian Portal.
  2. Click the 9 square button at the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Smart PBX from the application list.

  4. Select Users from the left.
  5. Click Add User at the top.
  6. Fill in the following.
    1. First & Last Name
    2. Email Address
    3. Enter a Password or click Generate to have one created
    4. Extension Number
  7. Enable any additional settings as preferred.
    1. Create a voicemail box for this user. (Enabled by default for all new users)
    2. Include User in the Company Directory, will ensure the user is in the automated Dial by Name directory for the account.
    3. Send emails to an alternate address. This allows emails generated by the system (VM, Fax and SMS) to be sent to an address other than the one used to log in to the portal. 
    4. Sends the portal login credentials to the email address entered above.
  8. Add Device can be used to assign a phone to the user at creation. Select the Make and model from the dropdown menu, then enter the MAC Address. 
  9. Click Create User to save the current new user, clicking Create User and Add Another will save the current user and open a new window to create additional users for the account.
