This article will show you how to do the following:
Change the file being used for Voicemail greetings
Methods:
Login to the Audian
Portal
.
Click the
9 square button
at the top right of the screen.
Click on the
Smart PBX
app.
Click
Voicemail Boxes
on the left side of the screen.
Click the
Edit
icon for the preferred Voicemail box.
Click
Advanced
at the top, and then click
Greeting Media
.
Select
Unavailable
or
Temporary
from the top.
Note:
Temporary
greetings will override the normal
Unavailable
greeting. Set the Temporary greeting to
- None -
to revert to the normal greeting.
Select the type of greeting to be used:
Text to Speech
: This option allows users to type out their voicemail greeting and have it translated into and audio file.
Choose from Existing Media Files
: This option is shown by default, if there is an existing greeting set it will be shown here.
Upload your own Files
: This option allows users to upload their own .wav or .mp3 files to be used.
Note:
There is an 8MB maximum file size limit.
Record it from the Browser
: This option allows users to record a greeting from their computer using the microphone attached to the computer.
Note:
This option is only available in the
Chrome
browser.
Record it over the Phone
: This option gives steps to record the voicemail greeting over any phone.
Click
Save Changes
